Saas Fee, Switzerland: The car-free alpine village of Saas Fee with its unique competition wall inside a circular car park at the edge of town is set against the spectacular backdrop of the towering Swiss Alps. It is also one of the oldest and and liveliest stops on the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup circuit.

The village on other side of Zermatt and Mount Matterhorn is a year-round ski resort and considered to be one of the most snow-sure areas in the Alps, home to highest ski-metro in the world, which zips skiers thousands of metres up the middle reaches of the mountain. The area is also famous for its ice caves and the "highest” revolving restaurant in the world.

Competition organizers have built a lounge area on the Ground Floor of the 10 floor high parking garage and competition wall called The Cave, home to the after-party, which gives new meaning to the world "cool.”
