Join campaign to Save the Himalayas

World renowned mountaineers, Sherpas and Nepali politicians as well as UIAA representatives marched in Copenhagen on International Mountain Day (December 11, 2009) to raise awareness of the impacts of Climate Change in the Himalayas.

They are asking people around the globe to sign their petition to Save the Himalayas.

The Nepal government is leading the efforts supported by several partner organizations including ICIMOD, NTNC, NTB, NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association), the World Bank, and WWF.
