American Alpine Club takes action on human waste

A select group of non-profit and government agencies are teaming up on July 30 and 31, 2010 to present the first international conference on remote human waste management, to be hosted in the United States.

Topics include waste systems from Japan, New Zealand and Canada, solar drying and multiple pack-out systems.

Manufacturers of various remote waste systems will display products and be on hand to answer questions.

Place: American Mountaineering Center, Golden, Colorado
