Spanish literature contest welcomes English contributions

An organisation in Spain dedicated to promoting mountain culture has expanded its annual literature and photography contest from Spanish-only entries to English. Cuentamontes is affiliated with UIAA Member, FEDME, the national mountaineering and climbing federation in Spain.

The winning entries will be published in the 2011 Cuentamontes book, which is a collection of stories on mountain themes.

The deadline for submissions is September 10, and first prize in the literature category is €500, and €150 in the photography category. See the contest details.
