UIAA certification means safer ropes

Dynamic ropes from TENDON have been produced since 2005 in three product lines – MASTER (special, extremely lightweight and top-class ropes with small diameters), AMBITION (conventional medium-diameter ropes with low weight and excellent handling) and TRUST (robust big-diameter ropes with a long life span).
Static ropes are offered both for work (professional ropes for work at height, rescue activities and belaying of persons over free depth) and for sport (reliable ropes for speleology and canyoning).

We are happy that in the minds of our customers all TENDON ropes are identified with safety, resistance and power. Especially safety, which is one of the priorities our company pays special attention to and on which we invest considerable financial resources. To do this, we have developed a system of rope tests in our in-house test laboratory. The ropes are subjected to an exacting inspection system before they leave our factory.
The International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation, the UIAA, confirms the high safety levels of dynamic ropes from TENDON by the awarding of UIAA certificates. In-house testing and UIAA certification guarantees the highest standards which TENDON ropes offer, and represent the safest belaying that climbers desire.

In addition to UIAA marking, you can find also a trefoil symbol and the words Environment Friendly Brand in the information about our ropes.
The activities of all manufacturers have an effect on the environment to some extent. To sustain our unique natural riches, it is necessary that all economic activity contributes, by a more responsible approach, to sustain the Earth for future generations to come.
Planet Earth is still, for all people, the only place for living. Also, you can contribute to the preservation of this unique place for succeeding generations by your choices. Send your old or destroyed ropes to our base in Bolatice and we will provide for their recycling free of charge.

We also try to adhere to this principle through our actions. All packaging of our ropes are made of 100% recyclable PE, information labels on ropes as well as the drums, on which our ropes are wound, are made of polypropylene which can also be fully ecologically processed by recycling. The drums themselves are returnable and we reuse them to pack new ropes. And finally, the instructions for all of our ropes are made of recycled paper and this, of course, is also easily and completely recyclable. We are glad that we can contribute to sustain a quality environment by our approach.
