Rules and Regulations

The ISMC Regulations were approved by unanimity by the Plenary Assembly of the ISMC hold in Matsumoto (Japan) of October 4th 2007.

The new regulations are divided in 3 documents:

    * Sports Regulations: This regulation contains all what matter to racers: categories, equipment, itineraries, penalties, etc…
    * Rank Regulations, This regulation contains detailed description of the way to calculate the international ranking and the rank of the official ISMC Cups.
    * Organizing regulations: This regulations contains all information needed by an organizer to hold an official ISMC event.

 The Regulations Commission is the responsible for analyzing and managing the changes on the regulation. The chairman of this commission is Mr. André Dugit and is part of the Technical Department of ISMC.

 If you have proposals to change the regulations, we kindly ask you to send them thought your national federations to the ISMC (ismc@uiaa.ch). Please specify the regulation and article which your proposal refers. The Regulations Commission will analyze the proposals.
