The Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), in collaboration with Nepal’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) and the Nepal Tourism is organising the Mount Everest Platinum Jubilee Celebration & Summiteers’ Summit on May 29, 2023, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the first ascent of Mt. Everest (29 May 1953).
Anyone who has summited Everest and is interested in attending the celebration event is invited to register here. Proof of a successful Everest Summit is also required. Attendees must organise and pay for both their own travel to Nepal and accommodation during their stay.
