The following communication, a translation from the original in Croatian, was published by the Croatian Mountaineering Association (HPS) on 27 April.
We inform all HPS members that the Office of the Croatian Mountaineering Association will continue to work every day from 9am to 3pm. During this time, information on hiking and mountains can be obtained and hiking literature, diaries, maps and articles can be ordered.
In order to avoid close physical contacts, the HPS Office does not receive any further clients, but sends all ordered material by registered mail to the client’s address. After ordering by phone, e-mail, or through the HPS web site, payment is made by pro forma invoice or ransom when picking up the shipment. For ordering membership cards and stamps for the purposes of basic mountaineering associations, a regular payment model for an invoice is applied.
For all information and orders the regular telephone numbers of HPS 01 / 48-23-624 and 01 / 48-24-142 and the official e-mail address hps@hps.hr are used. All mountaineering literature available at the HPS Office can also be viewed and ordered through the HPS Web Store.
The work of the HPS Office is organized in accordance with the measures, instructions and recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health and the Civil Protection Headquarters, and we also urge HPS members to consistently monitor and apply measures, instructions and recommendations of the competent services and to avoid all situations that could contribute to the spread of the virus.
