The UIAA has recently launched a global calendar for international ice climbing competitions and rock and ice climbing festivals, for events organised by the UIAA, its member federations and partners or entirely independent meetings.
“This new UIAA calendar is designed to provide climbers with details about events taking place near them, or near where they may be travelling,” explains UIAA Sport Events Coordinator Rob Adie. “Likewise it is a platform for event organisers to post details about their event and promote it to an international audience through the UIAA’s global network.”
Anyone wishing to submit details about an event can do so via dedicated form.

On the subject of rock climbing, the UIAA will shortly announce the winner of the 2018 UIAA Rock Climbing Festival Award which has focused its attention on events in South and Central America. Meanwhile, the calendar for the 2019 UIAA Ice Climbing World Tour is also now available.
