The new champions in Champagny-en-Vanoise are Nikolay Kuzovlev (Lead – Men), Maria Tolokonina (Lead – Women)l Vladimir Kartashev (Men – Speed) and Julia Oleynikova (Women – Speed).

The outdoor climbing wall in French alpine resort of Champangy – en – Vanoise in the Rhône-Alpes region once again proved itself to be a stunning backdrop to the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup. The venue is also home to the UIAA Youth Ice Climbing World Championships.

As the snow fell gently in the night, a dramatic series of Lead final events were held.
