On the weekend of 10-11 September 2022, the UIAA – in collaboration with the Swiss Alpine Club, Swiss SportClinic, SGGM (Swiss Society for Mountain Medicine) and the ISMM (International Society for Mountain Medicine) – will organise a Women Going to Altitude Conference.
This event, to be held near Pontresina, Switzerland will follow the UIAA Medical Commission’s update to its paper Women Going to Altitude, first released in 2008. The revised paper is expected to be released in the coming months.

LOCATION & REGISTRATION
The conference will be held at the Berghaus Diavolezza (2978m) in Pontresina, Switzerland.
The UIAA MedCom recommends an overnight stay. A cable car operates to the venue from 0800-1700 which can also be reached by foot in approximately 2-2.5 hours.
As the number of places is limited, please register early.
An all-inclusive registration is recommended (conference fee, overnight stay with half board, glacier hike/Munt Pers walk). Fee 190 CHF
The conference only fee is 80 CHF
The journey to the venue must be organised and paid for individually. There may be a special rate for participants on the cable car.
