Owing to the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the UIAA Rock Climbing Festival Award Panel has decided to not run the Award in 2020.
The 2020 Award was scheduled to open in March 2020 and welcome applications from festivals in Oceania and South-East Asia. The Award will now be postponed until 2021.
The UIAA Rock Climbing Award Panel is currently discussing the possibility of using this year’s prizemoney to support developing festivals or past winners. Further details will be announced in due course.
